Dr. Choo’s research centers on gender, transnational migration, and citizenship, with the aim to examine global social inequality. Decentering Citizenship: Gender, Labor, and Mi grant Rights in South Korea (2016, Stanford University Press) is the title of her recently published book, which is the basis of her presentation today.
