Professor Hsia is leading researcher and also leading activist on the empowerment of marriage migrants and their family in Taiwan since 1990s until today. She is an editor of Multiculturalism in East Asia: A Transnational Exploration of Japan, South Korea and Taiwan , from Rowman& Littlefield International, 2016s. Her current main research interest is construction of a system to accept diverse cultural background and multiple citizenship of marriage migrants and their family in Taiwan.
